Our Vision

What is Art, Humanity & Action?

Born in response to the 2016 election, Art, Humanity & Action was a series uniting storytelling, activism, and fundraising. Each event featured prominent storytellers and activists sharing stories on a theme, accessible calls-to-action from related organizations, and one main financial beneficiary. (See a running list of AH&A partners here.)

The goal of Art, Humanity & Action was to use personal storytelling to inspire unity and compassion, elevate voices, spur action across a range of issues, and raise awareness and funds for marginalized groups and communities.

Our Team

Founder and Director

Nicole Ferraro

Nicole is a storyteller and writer. She created the Art, Humanity & Action series in the divisive days following the 2016 election, partly as a way to get out of bed; and moreover, in an effort to use personal storytelling as a vehicle to inspire action and change, and to raise money for progressive organizations. She is grateful to all of the performers, partners, and friends who helped bring AH&A to life and raise thousands of dollars for communities and causes.
