“We’re Back” An evening of storytelling for Indivisible Westchester

On January 4th, 2019, Art, Humanity & Action presented “We’re Back” an evening of stories about comebacks and defiance, and a roadmap to taking the country back in 2020.

As a celebration of the 2018 Democratic victories, a full audience at Caveat in New York City heard personal stories from top storytellers, and ways to get involved in the continuing fight to regain Democratic control in 2020. 100% of ticket sales benefitted the Indivisible Westchester chapter of Indivisible: a grassroots movement of more than a million members and 6,000+ groups nationwide taking regular actions to resist the GOP agenda, elect local champions, and fight for progressive policies. This event raised $2300 to support the work of Indivisible Westchester.

Performers included Richard Cardillo, Michele Carlo, Andrea Coleman, Sammie James, Jean Le Bec, Nelson Lugo, Sandi Marx, and Elsa Waithe. New York State Senator Liz Krueger and Shannon Powell, Co-Founder, Indivisible Westchester, also made inspiring appearances.

Hosted by Nicole Ferraro, founder, Art, Humanity & Action.
